This is an earlier works I did several years ago for my love of dolphins . I'mean including a poem written by 11 students from Golden Grove High School in 2006 in response to their participation in " The finding Billie program".
Port River Dolphin Poem.
These creatures are forced to live in filth for years'
The water condition could bring you to tears.
Even though the river cleanup has begun,
The situation is far from second to none.
At least someone is making an attempt,
As some are just showing contempt.
Boat strikes are still a vital issue,
As they can cut skin and muscle tissue.
Donations are imperative to dolphins survival,
It's crucial to speed up their time of arrival.
One of the most unique animals on this earth.
A brilliant animal that gives live birth .
Their brilliant dorsal fins,
Their tail fluke brings a grin.
